The Trent and Tame Language Network works with schools in Birmingham, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to reinvigorate language teaching and learning, supporting young people across our region to be passionate about languages and become confident linguists.

Nurturing a passion for Language Learning
The Trent and Tame Language Network will work with schools to explore and implement effective Language pedagogy building on the recommendations of the 2016 MFL pedagogy review. This will support learners to know more, remember more and enjoy their language lessons.
Building capacity through system leadership
Working alongside middle and senior leaders, the Trent and Tame Language Network will support schools to explore their current language provision, developing a whole-school culture which values all language learning and which evolves over time.
